Csereév Japánban/Exchange year in Japan

A következő tanévet AFS cserediákként Japánban töltöm. Augusztus 21-én indulok Budapestről, átszállok Dohában, és augusztus 22-én, helyi idő szerint 18:40-kor érkezem meg Tokióba. (jövőre pedig július 8-án jövök haza)
Ott egy háromnapos érkezési orientáció vár rám, ahol megismerkedhetek a többi cserediákkal más országokból, és az AFS Japan önkéntesei felkészítenek minket a japán életünkre.
Az orientáció után minden cserediák a fogadócsaládjához utazik.
Az iskola szeptember harmadikán kezdődik. Ez nem az iskolaév kezdete, hanem nagyjából a közepe, az úgynevezett második trimeszter eleje.
Az iskolám Saitama városában van, Tokió belvárosától 30 km-re északra. Minden nap egyenruhában kell majd járnom, amiről majd teszek fel képet, amikor megkapom.
Az első másfél hétben valószínűleg nem lesz internetelérésem, úgyhogy lehet, hogy csak majd szeptember legelején írok egy összegző bejegyzést az első hetekről.

I am spending the next schoolyear in Japan, as an AFS exchange student. My plane takes off from Budapest on the 21st of August, I'll transfer at Doha, and I'll arrive to Tokyo at 18:40 (local time), 22nd of August (and I'll return on the 8th of July).
Upon arrival, a 3-day, so-called arrival orientation takes place. There, I will be able to meet other exchange students from all over the world, and the volunteers of AFS Japan help us get ready for our Japanese lives.
After the orientation, every exchanger travels to their host families.
School starts on the 3rd of September. This is not the beginning of the schoolyear, rather around the middle, the beginning of the so-called second trimester.
My school is in Saitama city, situated 30 kilometres (approximately 18.5 miles) North of Tokyo's city centre. I'll have to wear a uniform every day, of which I'll post a picture when I'll have it.
It is unlikely that I'll have internet connection in my first weeks, so I might only post again at the beginning of September.
